Get to Know Our Intern

Hi, my name is Jana Jamal Iddin and I’m the MSW intern here at Healthy Heart Counseling. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at Wayne State University and I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the University of Detroit Mercy. I’ve also had the chance to do internships abroad, which gave me a broader perspective on supporting people from different backgrounds. I’m excited to grow as a future therapist and to be part of the work we do here helping clients feel heard, supported, and understood.

Fun fact about me: I’ve lived and studied in three different countries, which has shaped how I connect with people from all parts of the world.
